The glamorous life of an international flight attendant can be anything but, as Vera Hanson discovered the morning one of her crew members was found murdered in a Paris hotel room. That morning began to put into focus some of the experiences of Vera's thirty year airline career, which she had purposely been avoiding. It caused her to look more deeply into the questions surrounding 9/11 that never made sense to a flight attendant, but that no one had seriously investigated. With the help of her pilot friend Jim Bowman, they embark on a cross country journey employing their wisdom, experience and intense research to uncover the mysteries of what really happened to the four airplanes and the people on them that fateful day. Written as a novel, Methodical Illusion has been excruciatingly researched from an insider's perspective, utilizing proprietary knowledge of airplanes, universal FAA protocols, standardized flight crew procedures and all hijacking policies. The results are the never before revealed answers to the daunting questions everyone has had, but few have dared ask aloud for fear of the repercussions that undoubtedly follow. Rebekah Roth is right on target with her mind blowing research which is guaranteed to open your eyes.

The truth about what happened to the World Trade Centre on 11 September 2001 was discovered by Dr Judy Wood, through careful research between 2001 and 2008. The author of this book, Andrew Johnson, had a “good view” of how later parts of Dr Wood’s research “came together.” Not only that, he was also involved in activities, correspondence and research which illustrated that this truth was being deliberately covered up. This book is a companion and follow-up volume to “9/11 Finding The Truth” – and documents ongoing (and successful) efforts to keep the truth out of the reach of most of the population.Evidence in this book, gathered over a period of 12 years, shows that the cover up is “micro-managed,” internationally and even globally. The book names people who are involved in the cover up. It is shown that the secrets revealed contain the knowledge for positively transforming the world we live in.

This is a work which provides an excellent summary of the essential themes, issues, facts, and questions concerning the tragic events of 9/11. This book engages the events surrounding 9/11 from a very different perspective -- namely that of a member of a hypothetical grand jury which is faced with the task of critically examining the available evidence concerning all manner of 9/11-related topics in order to determine whether or not a further public inquiry into 9/11 is appropriate and necessary. Many questions are raised in this book. The only certain answer arising out of the pages of this work is that, after careful review, the available evidence indicates the government's official version of 9/11 is not tenable in either principle or detail.

One of the readers of the first edition of this book considered it to be the best work that has been written on the subject of 9/11. The 3rd edition seeks to make a very good book even better. Framing 9/11, 3rd Edition contains all of the material that was present in the first two editions. This includes critical discussions on: The collapse of Building 7; the no-planes issue; controlled demolition; the work of Dr. Judy Wood; commentary on the views of Bill Maher and Matt Taibi concerning 9/11; Conspiracy and other 'C' words, as well as a series of 'Did You Know?' features. The current, updated edition of Framing 9/11 involves more than 150 pages of new material, and much of this is contained in chapter of this book entitled: ‘Unscientific America: 9/11, Sam Harris, and Noam Chomsky’. The penultimate chapter of this book also contains new material. It consists of an overview of, and introduction to, the work of Rebekah Roth which is given expression in her Methodical trilogy as well as through a variety of interviews. The final chapter of the 3rd Edition gives expression to an exploration of ‘The 9/11 Delusion and Its Consequences.” This discussion will critically examine the etiology of our current dilemma and provide an outline concerning how the very first step taken toward the pathology in which we are mired today began when Americans (both leaders and ordinary citizens) ceded their moral and intellectual agency to something other than the truth and, in the process became vulnerable to the 9/11 delusion. By becoming entangled in that delusion, all too many people were prepared to commit crimes against peace (i.e., unprovoked aggression against other people and nations) which, in turn, led to war crimes and crimes against humanity. However, our nightmare began when people (both leaders and ordinary citizens) denied themselves and others the opportunity (a) to establish the truth about, among other things, 9/11 and (b) to use that truth to work to create conditions that are conducive to the realization of “inalienable sovereignty” for everyone.

Are good and bad outcomes significantly affected by the decision-making process itself? Indeed they are, in that certain decision-making techniques and practices limit the ability of policymakers to achieve their goals and advance the national interest. The success of policy often turns on the quality of the decision-making process. Mark Schafer and Scott Crichlow identify the factors that contribute to good and bad policymaking, such as the personalities of political leaders, the structure of decision-making groups, and the nature of the exchange between participating individuals. Analyzing thirty-nine foreign-policy cases across nine administrations and incorporating both statistical analyses and case studies, including a detailed examination of the decision to invade Iraq in 2003, the authors pinpoint the factors that are likely to lead to successful or failed decision making, and they suggest ways to improve the process. Schafer and Crichlow show how the staffing of key offices and the structure of central decision-making bodies determine the path of an administration even before topics are introduced. Additionally, they link the psychological characteristics of leaders to the quality of their decision processing. There is no greater work available on understanding and improving the dynamics of contemporary decision making.
